I had a very special bond with my Standard Poodle Jazzmine (see picture above). I vowed to never kennel her. Given that commitment, she is actually the reason I started Happy Pets Sitting Services. If I never wanted to kennel my dog, I figured there were plenty of people out there who felt the same way I did. Therefore, I opened one of the first professional pet sitting businesses on the Monterey Peninsula in the early 1990’s.

I followed my dreams of owning my own business with the commitment of having animals that are happy and joyful in a comfortable, loving environment. I am still finding the joy of being with animals and expanding my services to fit the needs of my clients.

As a result, a high percentage of my business comes from repeat clients and veterinarian referrals, but I always look forward to meeting my next happy pet client!
